Road to Santiago

We dove into this work with a joyful and experimental attitude. It had been so long since I had worked with alcohol inks and Vidal had never worked with them. I spread Epson photo paper across the desk and Vidal just started grabbing inks.

Making these paintings are fun because we can build any world we’d like. Vidal and I use color and texture to create different dimensions, characters and action.  We see a full moon, tigers, faces, and coral reefs in the paintings. We invite you to zoom in, explore and find your own stories within them.
